Neighbors Connecting to Better Serve Our CommunityWe have organized around the grade school footprints since they provide common interest and ease of proximity. We encourage just reaching out at first. Coffee, lunch or a pot luck dinner is a great start to just connecting with the neighbor down the block, the parents of your child's classmate, the fellow parent you always see at school, etc. The next step is building a relationship. Providing serving and other meaningful opportunities to help out neighbors in need is the foundation of relationship. Genuine relationship will deepen with time and shared experience. It is a Win / Win situation when one neighbor or a group of neighbors with a common focus can help out another neighbor in need.
