Current Prayer Requests for Winter 2011

Please pray for...

  • TJ and successful en grafting of cells from bone marrow transplant and increased white blood cell count. Pray he will remain healthy and comfortable with a good appetite during the wait in isolation. Pray for his mother and her health during this time as TJ's constant companion. Please pray for Brittany, his sister, the donor and her full recovery.

  • Kim, Lu, Donna, Kathy ...cancer diagnosis. Pray for healing, peace and wisdom for all medical personnel involved in their care. Pray for support from family and friends and provision for children. Please pray for a good outcome but more for their trust in Christ and minds at peace.

  • Marcy and wisdom for doctors. Pray for strength and hope from our Lord. Pray for support from family and friends. Pray for no financial stress, but peace. Lastly for a clean bill of health for quite a while. May this be God's will.

  • Jane and her family - husband, son and daughter and their spouses and her grandchildren. Pray for reconciliation with the Lord and spouses, employment, and God's provision to live holy lives strengthened by His grace, peace and comfort.

  • Emily and medical diagnosis of a low iron count. Please pray for a good outcome but more for her trust in Christ and that her mind will be at peace.

  • Ruth that all anxiety melts away as peace, the peace that only God can give her, envelopes her fully. Pray that she finds employment that will use her God given abilities. Pray for healing for her mother.

  • Jodi's ...she lost her battle to colon cancer.  Pray for comfort from grief and God's peace for her 2 teenage boys and her family.

  • Event coordinators for Briargate and Algonquin Road School.

  • St. Barnabas to find a new board member for CGNL

  • Sr Connection … that Kim will find Volunteers

  • CGNL to find families that need to be served

  • teachers to recommend children to mentor for Kids Hope this fall and that parents will consent. Pray for more trained mentors from Willow Creek for Algonquin Road School kids.  

  • employment for people in Cary and FRG who are out of work

  • families suffering from marital problems and fear of spouses

  • homeless families who visit Cary PADS sites on Saturdays and Mondays and for the details to get worked out for the over flow sites.  

  • residents of Cary suffering from financial difficulties and loss of their homes. Pray that they find God's strength and ears to listen during this difficult time and he shows them what decisions to make.

Our Mission as an organization is to connect people who live within the geographic area of Cary & Fox River Grove, with opportunities to build relationships and serve together to help neighbors in need. When we take a few minutes to do random acts of kindness, "pay it forward" we like to say, all those involved are blessed.
