Saturday May 22 Cary Grove Neighborhood Life spent the day washing cars in the Fifth Third Bank parking lot. Most people thought they were raising money and came prepared to give donations. But the neighbors were very surprised when they found out CGNL actually gave them $1 for the privilege of washing their car and serving them. The workers were heard to say "Its our way of showing God's love for you in a practical way". To say people were surprised was an understatement. They were told to take the money they saved and "Pay it Forward" to someone else who needed it.
